I am pretty computer illiterate as you can tell. For laptops you can often clean the power and data contacts with a pencil eraser.

In reply to kuhlcrew’s post on September 29, Please do all the below 8875s if you have done some before as it is often the total process which solves the issue. It is suddenly being finicky about what discs it wants to read. Sorry this didn’t help. It’s a new drive so I can’t think PowerBook Guy shipped it without proper firmware.
